The University of Hartford began its 60th year on February 21, 2017 with a “Where’s Walt” scavenger hunt and birthday cake in the Commons. On this page, we’re sharing photos and a video about the day as well as some interesting and exciting University accomplishments that happened from 2007 to 2017. It’s not a comprehensive list but it is sure to spark some memories.

March 9 – The Greenberg Center for Judaic Studies will host an advance screening of the new National Geographic Channel documentary, Finding Atlantis, on Wednesday, March 9, at 7 p.m., in Wilde Auditorium. Read More
May 7 – The University of Hartford men’s lacrosse team is headed to its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance after winning the America East Championship Saturday with a thrilling upset over Stony Brook. Read More
June 29 – University of Hartford alumnus Javier Colon, a 2000 graduate of The Hartt School, won the first season of the popular NBC singing competition, The Voice, on Wednesday, taking home a prize of $100,000, a recording contract, and priceless exposure for his music career. Read More
Aug. 28 – The University of Hartford came through Hurricane Irene with minimal damage and no loss of power. Read More
