Research interest:

Condensed matter experimental Physics with a focus on the local properties of highly correlated electron systems such as doped perovskite oxides: cuprates (high temperature superconductors), manganites and coboltates.  Interests stretch out along the line of studying both bulk and thin films of these materials collaborating with the University of Connecticut.

Pedagogy:

Teaching advanced or introductory level physics courses combining Just in Time Teaching (JiTT) with  wikispaces (Wikis). The students are encouraged to think outside of what is taught in the class, while developing their own critical thinking abilities.
