Dr. Sarah Ketay joined the faculty in 2012. She completed her undergraduate degree at Mount Holyoke College in Neuroscience and her Ph.D. at Stony Brook University in Social and Health Psychology. Following her graduate training, she was a postdoctoral fellow at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Her research is focused on cultural psychology, social interactions and well-being. She investigates the influence of Individualism and Collectivism on cognition and social interactions. In addition, she examines socioeconomic status as a cultural construct. Finally, her research examines perceptions of self and other in dyadic interactions and the effect of these interactions on well-being. |
