The religious studies program equips students with a global perspective in their knowledge of religious theory and practice. Integrating thinking and scholarship from philosophy, Judaic studies, literature, art, history, and sociology, the program incorporates both Western and non-Western traditions. Its purpose is to promote an intelligent understanding of different belief systems and their relation to culture and personal choices and actions.
The program complements many different majors. The student interested in this minor should consult the coordinator of the program.
