Two Plays by Erin Striff to be Performed

Erin Striff, associate professor of English in the College of Arts and Sciences and director of the drama minor, will have readings of two plays produced by different theatre companies during the next few days.

Her recent play, irl (In Real Life), will be presented as part of the PlayMakers “Shorts” Festival of Ten Minute Play staged readings, on Thursday, Nov. 5, at 7 p.m. at Thornton Wilder Auditorium, Miller Building, 2901 Dixwell Ave, in Hamden, Conn. Admission is free.

Striff's new play, Ms. Connections, will appear as part of the Floating Theater Company's evening of new works drawn from Craigslist's "Missed Connections." The program will take place on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m. at The Buttonwood Tree, 605 Main St. in Middletown, Conn. Suggested donation $5.
