MARILYN J. FRIED (HCW) of Old Lyme, Conn., now retired, spent 39 years as a dental hygienist in private practice after graduating as valedictorian of her class at Eastman Dental Dispensary, Rochester, N.Y. Her husband, John, retired from Pfizer, Inc., Groton, Conn., after 36 years, and is writing his memoirs. Marilyn and John's daughter, Debra, is married, has a master's degree in social work, and has three children, twins Stephanie and Joshua, and a second daughter, Jennifer.
