1961
RONALD L. THERIAULT (HARTT, MEd '72) of Bristol, Conn., has been awarded an honorary life membership in Tri-M music honor society for his work in music education and for inspiring young musicians to achieve. He retired in June after 34 years in Avon, Conn., as band director and fine arts coordinator. Ron plans to continue his involvement in education. He is currently assistant director for the New Horizons Band, adult division of The Hartt School, and choir director at St. Matthew Church in Forestville, Conn.
1963
DONALD ECCLESTON (ART) of Uncasville, Conn., was featured in a recent New London Day article. His watercolors, according to the article, are brightly colored and surreal renderings of Southwestern themes. His work was recently displayed in Palmer Auditorium, Connecticut College, as part of a Norwich Arts Council show, and is represented in galleries in New London, Conn., and Albuquerque, N.M. Don taught art for 26 years at New London and Waterford high schools and has also taught in Head Start and adult education programs. Among his former students are successful professional artists working in mixed media and oil as well as watercolor.

JOHN DILLON (BARNEY) of Greenwich, Conn., has been appointed by President Clinton to membership in the Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations. John is chairman and chief executive officer of International Paper and serves as chairman of the board of directors of the National Council on Economic Education and chairman of the board of governors of the National
Council for Air and Stream Improvements (NCASI).
1967
ANTHONY RINALDI (ENG) of Midlothian, Va., will retire from Tredegar Industries at the end of 1999 after 23 years of service. Most recently he has been senior corporate vice president after holding positions of increasing responsibility for Tredegar operations.
1969
SANDI CONE (HCW) of Weatogue, Conn., has graduated from Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy, is certified in Connecticut, and is in the process of being certified by the national board. She will be in private practice at Heartfelt Connection Therapeutic Massage.
