Until that time, the Commons, Subway, and Village Market will maintain regular hours for residential dining services and the Sports Center will be open normal hours for use by residential students only. Gengras Student Union and University Libraries remain closed until the University reopens Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Ralph O. Mueller was appointed dean of the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions in 2009. He serves on the governing boards of the University's two public magnet schools and holds faculty rank as a professor of educational leadership and of psychology. Before joining the University of Hartford, Mueller was professor of educational research and of public policy and public administration at The George Washington University in D.C. from 1993 through 2009 and served as chair of its Department of Educational Leadership from 2001 to 2006. During the 2007-08 academic year, he served as American Council on Education fellow and special assistant to the provost at the University of Miami, Fla. Mueller is a quantitative research methodologist who earned his PhD degree from Virginia Tech in 1987. He has authored and co-edited several applied statistics texts and numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and chapters on applications of multivariate statistical techniques. He has served as consultant for agencies such as the National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Education, and the World Bank and currently serves on the boards of several prominent methodological and applied journals. Mueller is a sought-after lecturer conducting professional development seminars on structural equation modeling to national and international audiences. He holds deeply rooted commitments to diversity, internationalization, pedagogy, and multi- and interdisciplinary teaching and scholarship. Mueller enjoys engaging and listening to faculty, staff, students, and community stakeholders to learn from their perspectives for incorporation into his analyses and conclusions.
