Dr. Markson teaches sociology in the areas of social stratification, collective behavior/ social movements, social policy, and sociological theory. His research interests and experience include social movements, inequality, and the evaluation of social policy.  Go

Dr. Miofsky’s current work explores patterns of bullying and victimizations within schools, contextualizing teen sexting behaviors, and the nature of community crime control. Dr. Miofsky is conducting research on community crime control. Go

Dr. Norland teaches criminal justice courses within the sociology department. These courses are deviance, drugs and society, social control, criminology, and criminal justice policy. His research include gender and deviance, drug laws, and social control.  Go
