In February of the spring semester, Dean Joseph Voelker celebrates the academic achievement of first-year students who earn a GPA of 3.25+ during the fall term. These students earn Dean’s List recognition and are strong candidates for the A&S Honors Program.
In 2012, over 75 first-year Dean’s List students, plus many of their faculty advisors, attended a luncheon held to honor them. In addition to presentations by Dean Voelker and the Honors Coordinator Dr. Donald Jones, six senior honors students described their involvement in the A&S Honors Program.
