Ms. Mann-Agnew has been in the field of social services for over 30 years.  She is currently employed at Catholic Charities (CC) where she holds the senior leadership position of Director of Programs.  In this large mufti- service organization, her responsibilities include the overall programmatic and fiscal management of over many youth, juvenile justice, and family oriented programs. 

In addition for over a decade, Ms. Mann-Agnew has functioned as an adjunct professor at the University of Hartford where she specializes in Cultural Competent Practices in Psychology and Social Work.  She is a licensed Social Worker that has designed and implemented Cultural specific programs in many states throughout the country including Connecticut, Louisiana, Maryland, New York and New Mexico.  She is a Certified Cultural Competency trainer through Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DHMAS). She holds a certification in Advanced African Centered practice from the National Association of Black Social workers (Howard University) and Advanced Child and Adolescent Clinical Practice (Springfield College).  She currently sits on the Cultural Competency Advisory Committee (State of Connecticut Judicial Branch -Court Support Services Division). She is an officer on the Connecticut Multicultural Partnership Leadership committee.   She chairs the Cultural Competency and Limited English proficiency (LEP) initiatives at Catholic Charities.
