Bachelor of Arts in Psychology

Our small classes and labs are taught by faculty with expertise in areas such as social behavior, pain management, and the neurobiology of social relationships. Your required courses cover the five core domains of psychology, statistical analysis, and research methods. You’ll have the chance to participate in the Psychology Student Club, which features speakers, films, and events to enhance the theories, research, and practical applications done in your coursework.

Whether you’re doing research with faculty or completing an internship, you’ll find opportunities for learning outside of the classroom. Many of our students complete mental health and counseling placements in internship settings such as hospitals, mental health centers, state prisons, geriatric centers, and the Institute of Living. You could even intern in the University’s own Human Resources Department or Peer Facilitator Program.

Our graduates have rewarding careers and many pursue graduate work in fields like clinical psychology, sports psychology, neuroscience, and social work. The academic support and mentoring you’ll receive at UHart will help you reach your goals.
