How to Log in to Cascade

Each person using the CMS needs a Username and Password to access the system.

Log in to Cascade Server with your: Username and Password
(These will be provided before, or on, the day of training)

Instructions & Tips

For security purposes, inactive users will automatically be logged off after 60 minutes of no activity. Users should log off when not using the system.

Change your password

Be sure to change your password after the training session.

  1. In the upper right-hand corner navigation, click My Settings.
  2. In the “Change Password” section, Enter a new password (twice), and then click Submit. Passwords are case-sensitive.

Browser Selection

The University's CMS is a web-based application that is accessed through an Internet browser. The CMS is supported by the major browsers: Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari.

Cascade Server’s authoring interface works best with Mozilla Firefox on either Windows or Mac OSX. IE and Safari are both fully functional, but have various quirks that make Firefox a better option.

This recommendation is only for the authoring environment. Pages produced by Cascade are viewable in any browser, as long as they are created properly with any of the standard template pages.
