Engaging Workshops, Fun Conferences, Exciting Speakers and More!
The Women’s Advancement Inititiave plans events and outings on a monthly basis which are open to all students at the University. These events are designed to give students a way to interact, discuss campus and mainstream topics, build leadership skills, as well as establish a new network of friends and classmates. Students should join our mailing list, check the Gengras student calendar or read UNOTES to find out more.
Community Events and Mentoring Opportunities
The Women’s Advancement Inititiave organizes events open to all students, staff and faculty, as well as the greater Hartford community on certain occasions. In addition to the open events, there are numerous ways to get involved with The Women’s Advancement Inititiave. One of the most important ways to engage is by mentoring a female student on campus. We welcome ideas for events and new opportunities. Please contact us to share your ideas.
Join our email list by contacting Shannon Mumley at Womenadv@hartford.edu to find out more about upcoming events!
