Areas of Study

To say that the University of Hartford offers learning for a lifetime is no overstatement. Youngsters only a few weeks old enroll in the Hartt Community Division's First Steps in Music program while adult non-credit programs like the Presidents' College have welcomed learners in their 90s. In between, the University serves both traditional-age and adult students with a wide array of academic programs at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Seven distinctive schools and colleges provide a rich and diverse learning environment with a wide array of undergraduate majors and graduate-level programs of study that span the arts, humanities, sciences, and social sciences.
