Students who successfully complete the program in Secondary Mathematics Education earn a BA in mathematics and recommendation for certification to teach mathematics in grades 7 through 12 in Connecticut. The Secondary Mathematics Education program at the University of Hartford features a solid mathematics preparation in addition to professional education course work and successively challenging and diverse school-based experiences under the supervision and guidance of University and K–12 faculty.
