From the Executive Director of the Center for Teaching Excellence and Innovation

Jean McGivney-Burelle, PhD

Hi, my name is Jean McGivney-Burelle, and I have been a faculty member in the mathematics department in the College of Arts and Sciences since 2005.

In August 2016, I began work in my new role as the inaugural executive director of the Center for Teaching Excellence and Innovation (CTEI) and I am very excited about the potential for this Center to become the hub of all things teaching and learning and look forward to working with each of you in whatever capacity you desire.

Our new office is on the lower level of Harrison Library L109. Please feel free to stop by or reach out to me via email or a phone call about any questions you have related to teaching and learning and I will do whatever I can to help you have a successful and rewarding teaching experience this year!
