Do you sometimes wonder whether your graded assignments and tests get at the learning you intend or desire? Interested in breathing some new life into your assigned coursework? Sheetal Sood and Lisa Zawilinski, led the conversation, as they applied backward design principles in an existing course. Participants applied backward design principles to a course. The goal of this application was to increase ideas for assignments both graded and ungraded that would lead students to more explicit and specific learning outcomes.
