The University is operating on a normal schedule today. Hartt Community Division classes and activities are canceled for the remainder of today and this evening. This evening's McAuley Lecture, presented by the Presidents' College, has been canceled.

Jean Lorelle Paul WilsonJean Lorelle Paul Wilson

Jean Lorelle Paul Wilson is the director of the Faculty Center for Learning Development (FCLD). Previous to her University of Hartford appointment, she worked as an instructional designer and Blackboard support administrator in instructional development and support at the University of Kansas, Lawrence. She also worked at the University of Massachusetts, where she developed and implemented a student cable TV station using constructivist models and principles. Her background includes work in instructional design, Web development, digital multimedia, and video production. As adjunct faculty of the University of Massachusetts' School of Education, she taught courses in educational technology and documentary filmmaking.

Bevin RainwaterBevin Rainwater

Instructional Designer

Bevin Rainwater is the Instructional Designer for the Faculty Center for Learning Development (FCLD).  Before coming to the University of Hartford, Bevin was a Course Developer and Spanish Professor for Charter Oak State College.  She is also a freelance Graphic Designer, Web Developer and Spanish Translator in her spare time.  Bevin holds a Masters of Arts in Teaching Foreign Languages, post-graduate in Education, and is a certified K-12 Spanish Teacher and has worked professionally as a Bilingual Paralegal, Spanish Translator and Interpreter as well as a Spanish Content Specialist.
