Career Mentoring Opportunities for Alumni

Express to Success
The mission of the Express to Success program is to pair current sophomores or juniors with alumni professionals for an intensive one week mentoring experience during spring break, Mar. 17-23, 2008. The student-alumni partnership, based on the student’s major and career aspirations, is designed to match students with proven leaders in their chosen field. Applications for both alumni and students can be found online or contact Kandyce Aust, Director of Alumni Relations, at aust@hartford.edu for more information.

CareerBridge Mentoring Network

Remember what it was like to graduate and not know exactly what you wanted to do? Was the job market tight and perhaps it was difficult to get into your field of interest? Now there is an opportunity for you to share with others what you’ve learned along the way in your particular occupation – become a Career Mentor!

The Career Mentor Network consists of alumni and friends of the University, in many different professions, who volunteer to provide information and advice regarding their careers. Detailed information regarding how to participate in the Career Mentor Network may be found at https://www.myinterfase.com/hartford/mentor. Please call Career Services at 860.768.4287, or contact us by e-mail at career@hartford.edu if you have any questions.
