Admission to the Barney School is competitive and selective. Admissions are on a "rolling basis". This means that there are no application deadlines and applications are reviewed on a continuous basis.
Since there are a limited number of students accepted each semester, it is important to submit your materials early. Applications should be received at least 30 days prior to the beginning of the term for which the student is seeking admission.
Prospective domestic students in the process of completing applications may enroll in 3 graduate course as a non-matriculated student. To qualify for this option you must submit an application and official transcripts.

A limited number of graduate assistantships are available to full time (9 credits), matriculated graduate students in the Barney School. These positions require the student to work for a faculty member or an academic office.Hours vary each semester. Appointment is competitive and based on academic ability, work experience, and the needs of faculty or the academic office. Resumes may be submitted to the Academic Department Office Coordinator.
