Students and faculty at the University of Hartford Barney School of Business began an endeavor in late in 2009 to begin a chapter of Beta Alpha Psi at the school as a way to honor top students in accounting and finance.
In January, 2012, the University of Hartford Chapter was installed as the Mu Chi Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi.
