Become a Member

Requirements:

• Open to Accounting, Insurance Finance and Economics Finance Majors.
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Completed at least one course in your major with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• 6 professional activities (meetings) per academic year.
• 2 service activities per academic year.
• A one-time $55 fee at the time of application.
• A one-time $50 fee to cover chapter costs and pay for graduation cords.

Steps:

• Download and fill out our membership application (pdf)
• Submit application electronically to bap@hartford.edu (with “Membership Application” in the subject line) or in person to the Accounting Department at the University of Hartford Barney School of Business, located on the fourth floor of Auerbach Hall.
• Submit dues of $55 and $50 in separate checks, payable to Beta Alpha Psi and University of Hartford, respectively.
