Joseph F. Coughlin, a 1980 University of Hartford graduate and a current member of its board of regents, is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Corporate Risk Solutions. He has over 30 years of experience in the consulting, advisory, underwriting and brokerage segments of the insurance industry. Over the course of his career, Coughlin has completed numerous complex engagements, and has provided ongoing stewardship services for many of the largest and most intricate transactions within the private equity and distressed debt markets. Before forming CRS in March of 2002, Coughlin founded and served as President of JFC Consulting, Inc., which he built into the largest centralized block of private equity insurance buying power in the industry before selling to a large insurance brokerage. He is an active investor in a number of private equity and venture capital partnerships, as well as individual start-up companies.
Joe Boren is Chairman of the Environmental product line at Ironshore Holdings (U.S.) Inc., Executive Vice President of Ironshore Insurance Services, LLC, President of U.S. Field Operations and Director of Strategic Relations. He was formerly Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AIG Environmental, which he built into the leading U.S. provider of environmental insurance products and services. Boren has experience in every segment of the environmental market; a regulator, practitioner, and insurer. He began his environmental career in the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection, and has experience in every environmental segment. Boren also served as the Vice President of Development of the highly successful Connecticut Resources Recovery Authority. He is currently on the Board of the Environmental Law Institute.
Peter Eastwood is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Americas, AIG, responsible for AIG's property and casualty insurance operations in the United States, Canada, Bermuda, and Latin America. Prior to assuming his current responsibilities in March 2011, Eastwood was President and Chief Executive Officer of Lexington Insurance Company, Inc., AIG's’ excess and surplus lines subsidiary. He has been employed by the member companies of AIG since joining the company in 1991. Eastwood is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University, as well as New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
Philip V. Moyles, Jr. is the CEO and a member of the board of directors of Sharebridge Holdings, Inc. He is also an Operating Partner of Stone Point Capital. Moyles has 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Stone Point, he was an Executive Vice President and CEO of the Americas for Marsh Inc. During a 25-year career at Marsh Inc, Moyles was Head of Global Products and Services, had responsibility for the managing general underwriting platform of the firm (Victor O. Schinnerer & Co., Inc.), led the company's distribution efforts, and built the company's Private Equity and M&A Services business. He also led the formation of MaRI, which was the first sidecar created directly for the property catastrophe risks of corporate clients. Moyles holds a B.A. from Kenyon College and is a graduate of the Tuck School of Business (Dartmouth) Executive Program.
Joseph L. Petrelli, ACAS, MAAA, FCA, is founder and President of Demotech, Inc. He has more than 40 years of progressively responsible property and casualty actuarial and financial analysis experience. Petrelli has extensive experience with loss and loss adjustment expense reserve evaluation, product development, and pricing for virtually all property and casualty and title insurance products as well as expertise with loss cost filings, Financial Stability Ratings®, and merger and acquisition valuations. Petrelli has a Bachelor of Science in Business (Actuarial Science) from St. John's University (College of Insurance) and an MBA from The Ohio State University.
Charles A. Davis is the Chief Executive Officer of Stone Point Capital LLC, a global private equity firm that has focused on making investments in the financial services industry for nearly 25 years. Stone Point primarily invests through the Trident Funds, which have secured approximately $10 billion in committed capital for investments in more than 50 companies in the financial services industry since 1994. Before joining Stone Point in 1998, Davis was with Goldman, Sachs and Co. for 23 years, where he served as head of Investment Banking Services worldwide, co-head of the Americas Group, head of the Financial Services Industry Group, a member of the International Executive Committee and a General Partner. Davis is a director of AXIS Capital Holdings Limited, Sharebridge Holdings, Inc. and StoneRiver Holdings, Inc. (f/k/a Fiserv Insurance Solutions, Inc.), and a former director of several other portfolio companies of the Trident Funds. Davis is a graduate of the University of Vermont and holds an MBA from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
