To register for the internship course, you must:
Once you have secured your internship, please contact the faculty internship coordinator, for approval. The internship requires a minimum of 225 hours. You may do only one internship for 3 credit hours.
The internship contract must be completed, a job description attached and the business card (or a copy) of your work supervisor attached.
You must sign the contract and have your work supervisor sign it. You may drop it off in faculty internship coordinator's mailbox in the Department of Accounting & Taxation, fax it to 860-768-4398, or send it by email to our internship coordinator, Dr. J. Donald Warren, firstname.lastname@example.org, as a PDF.
Once the completed contract is received you will be registered for AC985 for the fall, spring or summer semester as appropriate. You will also be enrolled in the AC985 Blackboard course for that semester. PLEASE CHECK THE BLACKBOARD COURSE FOR THE SYLLABUS WHICH CONTAINS ALL COURSE REQUIREMENTS AND DUE DATES, AND CHECK YOUR UNIVERSITY OF HARTFORD EMAIL REGULARLY DURING THE SEMESTER FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
