Description:

When we think of books and the Third Reich, we think of book burnings, censorship, confiscations, publishers being forced out of business. While all these things happened, our understanding of them is often based on hearsay. Scholar Michele Troy has delved into German archives looking for historical answers. How were the decisions made? Who was in charge?
