The University of Hartford's Office of Career Services office wants to prepare your child to make sound career decisions. We encourage you to take an active role in your child's career development by motivating them to use the resources available.
Students should begin to engage with Career Services in their first year at the University, and continue to work with us throughout their time in college. According to a 2010 study by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), 71 percent of college seniors who received job offers reported using their college career center. It certainly pays to visit our office.
The study found that seniors who used their school's career center four or more times a semester were more apt to receive job offers than those who only used it once a semester.
