Teaching Experience

Applied Assistant Professor of Engineering – University of Hartford (August 2016-present)

Water Quality Engineering and Laboratory – senior-level course covering the design of water and wastewater treatment facilities. Laboratory includes Civil3D design project and semester-long field or laboratory experimental research project in water or wastewater treatment.
Water Resources Engineering Laboratory – junior-level laboratory course conducting experiments with open channel flow and pumping and pipe networks.
Engineering Design – freshman (fall) and sophomore (spring) courses introducing students to the engineering design process while teaching some fundamental skills in robotics programming, spreadsheet analysis and data acquisition.
Capstone Design Instructor and Project Mentor – Co-teach the senior civil engineering capstone design projects where student teams design solutions to real problems with roads, bridges, buildings, treatment facilities, pump stations, and pipelines.

4-H Club Leader (2001 – present)

Co-lead a multi-interest 4-H club where we work with youth, facilitating learning about their project areas that include dairy goats, woodworking, sewing, science and interstate exchange.
