Acoustical Engineering and Music (BSE)
A: The student will be encouraged to take the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination, the first step towards registration as a professional engineer. The department will systematically present the advantages, preparation methods and application procedures for the FE exam throughout the students? program of study.
B1: The successful graduate will be able to apply mathematics, scientific principles, and relevant engineering tools to engineering practice
B2: The successful graduate will be able to identify and evaluate acoustical issues as applied to engineering design
B3: The successful graduate will be able to analyze and design acoustic treatments for structures, devices or components
B4: The successful graduate will be able to make oral and written professional presentations
B5: The successful graduate will be able to work as a member of an engineering team
B6: The successful graduate will be able to understand the social and ethical responsibilities of a professional engineer
B7: The successful graduate will be able to analyze and design static structures, moving devices, and components.
C: The qualified graduate will have the background necessary to pursue admission to relevant graduate programs
