Due to winter storm conditions, the University is closed today, Tuesday, Jan. 27.  Day and evening classes are canceled. An updated advisory on the status of classes and operations for tomorrow will be posted this evening. During the time that the University is closed, the Commons, Subway, and Village Market will maintain regular hours for residential dining services and the Sports Center will be open for use by residential students only. The Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering (B.S.E.E) professional will affect everyday lives of most of the world's population. These graduates are responsible for the design and development of radio and television transmitters and receivers, telephone networks and switching systems, Computer systems and electric power generation and distribution. Within the broad scope of these systems, the electrical engineer is concerned with a challenging and diverse array of design and development problems.
