Bloomfield Center
Funded by Town of Bloomfield Grant

The future development of Bloomfield center was the focus of this CID project that began in June 2003. Faculty-student teams gathered data on existing
conditions including architectural styles, lighting, signage, parking areas, sidewalks, workability, and traffic. In addition, a focus group provided the team with a better understanding of how town officials and residents felt about the center of town. The study also revealed which elements participants felt were needed to increase the center’s vitality. In the next phase, students and faculty analyzed the data and performed several design studies.
