Model Regulations for Incorporating Affordable Housing Initiatives
in a Smart Growth Context

Funded by an Environmental Protection Agency Grant

This is a joint project with CRCOG; the towns of Bloomfield, Manchester, South Windsor, and Tolland; the Partnership for Strong Communities; and the American Farmland Trust. Goals are to develop a three-tiered model of zoning regulations that promote development and redevelopment where infrastructure and transit options currently exist, while taking into account the varying form and design concerns of urban, suburban and rural communities.
