This workshop is aimed specifically at small business owners who want to understand the financial aspects of their businesses. Understanding the language of accounting will empower you to take your business to the next level and to manage the business growth. Ultimately you will be equipped to grow a healthy and sustainable business.

Topics that will be covered in this workshop include:

  • Understanding the basic concepts of accounting and reading financial statements
  • Analyzing the basic elements of a balance sheet
  • Using the evidence in financial statements to make a financial decision
  • Determining financial viability of a project/enterprise
  • How to base decisions on evidence in the balance sheet
