The Entrepreneurial Center’s Hartford Small Business Technical Assistance Program offers hands-on training and guidance for qualifying small businesses located in Hartford. This program helps strengthen and grow businesses by developing a customized plan,
which includes a site visit and assessment, individual appointments with a business advisor and technical specialists, and small group seminars.

Customized technical assistance helps business owners:

• Set goals with a plan of action
• Develop and implement marketing, business, and financial plans
• Identify capital needs and access financing programs
• Improve cash flow and financial management
• Reach new markets and improve sales
• Apply for government contracts
• Streamline operations by utilizing business software

Eligible businesses:

• Are located in Hartford and have been in business for at least one year
• Cater to the Hartford business and residential community as a portion of their clientele
