Certificate in Supervisory Excellence

Prepares new supervisors to lead and manage effectively.

Supervisors learn strategies and techniques in seven critical Success Skill areas: Supervision Fundamentals, Interpersonal Relations, Team Building, Budgeting, Conflict Management, Coaching/Performance Appraisal, and Motivating/Rewarding.

To fulfill the requirements of this certificate, participants must complete at least one seminar from four of the Success Skill areas listed below (see our list of Supervisory seminars), plus two elective seminars (see full list of seminars available). A total of six seminars are required to complete the certificate.

Supervision Fundamentals:

  • A Toolkit for Supervisors: Managing Communications, Meetings and Time Effectively

  • Maintain Your Leadership Effectiveness Under Stress

Interpersonal Relations:

Team Building:

  • Build a Team That Works Well Together

Conflict Management:
  • Dealing with Difficult Employees

Coaching/Performance Appraisal:

  • Strategies for Effective Performance Appraisal and Coaching

Motivating/Rewarding:

  • Engaging Employees for High Performance
