Underwear Drive for Project Horizon

The Staff Association is sponsoring an underwear drive to benefit Project Horizon. Donations of new underwear and socks will be collected throughout the winter months. Students in the BSN program in the Department of Nursing, ENHP, will distribute the donated items to homeless shelters and other organizations that serve the needy in Greater Hartford.
Project Horizon is a community service initiative of the Nursing Department that serves poor families and children with hands-on caring and education.
Donations of new underwear and socks for men, women and children are greatly appreciated. No time to shop? Not a problem. The Staff Association is also accepting monetary donations, which will be used to purchase underwear.
You may drop off your donations in Hillyer 200E or contact Lynn Galvin at 768.4250 or galvin@hartford.edu to arrange for pick up.
