Students: Tell Us What You Think
Posted 2/3/2006
Beginning this month, a new website at the University of Hartford will seek student opinions about life on campus. Located at www.hartford.edu/president/isl.asp, the site will serve as a web forum for students to voice their views on key questions that change each month.
“It’s my hope that this site will tell us a great deal about what we’re doing right, and where we need to improve,” said President Walter Harrison. “I look forward to hearing from our students.”
Initiated by a team working with President Harrison, the forum was created to gain valuable feedback from students and provide an avenue for change. The source of the monthly questions will come from throughout the University — including the Office of Residential Life, deans and faculty, Athletics, and others involved directly with students. A team assembled just for this project will collect and review student responses, and President Harrison will respond to them on the website at the end of each month. In his reply, the president will tell students what he’s learned through their feedback and indicate any steps the university should take as a result.
Students are encouraged to go to the president's page at www.hartford.edu/president/isl.asp and respond online to February's question.
