Three Visitor Kiosks Installed
The distinctive new landmarks are visitor kiosks with maps of the campus. Three kiosks have been installed in strategic, high-traffic locations, to help visitors find their way around the University.
The kiosks are located in front of the Computer Center; near the flagpoles in front of the Harry Jack Gray Center; and between Gengras Student Union and the Financial and Administrative Services Building, alongside parking lot B.
The unique, contemporary design of the kiosks includes bright green canopies that are visible from a distance.
”Seen from afar, the soaring green canopies were designed to float in space and serve as beacons identifying their (the kiosks’) presence,” said Zina Davis, director of the Joseloff Gallery and coordinator of the kiosk project.
“A very special thank you goes out to the Parents Association for making these kiosks possible,” Davis said.
