The University of Hartford Emeriti Association is seeking applicants for two $500 scholarships for the 2010-11 academic year.
Those who apply should be entering their sophomore, junior or senior year as full-time students in Fall 2010, and should have a minimum GPA of 3.25. The scholarship award is based on scholarly achievement and a commitment to extra-curricular activities at the University or in the community-at-large.
The deadline for applications is Wednesday, March 31, at 4 p.m.
To apply for the scholarship, students must submit an application to Walter Banzhaf, executive secretary of the Emeriti Association, outlining their qualifications for consideration. Applications should include a letter of application, a resume, and two letters of recommendation from a student's advisor or other faculty members.
Application materials should be submitted by e-mail to email@example.com, or by intercampus mail to Walter Banzhaf, CETA, UT 207.
