Grant Recipients Recognized

University of Hartford faculty and staff earned $5.78 million in grants in 2004-05, topping the previous year’s total by more than $1.75 million.
The recipients of those grants were recognized on Oct. 19 at a reception at Russell House, the president’s home. The reception was sponsored by the Office of the President, the Office of the Provost, and the Office of Institutional Partnerships and Sponsored Research. Support for the event was also provided by Morton Handel, a university regent, and Irma Handel.
All together, a total of 64 grants were awarded to 35 recipients in 2004-05. Following is a list of the recipients, the grants they received, and the funding organizations.
