Service-Learning Institute Scheduled for Nov. 5
Mark your calendar for the fourth annual Service-Learning Fall Institute, "Assessment: Knowledge is Power."
The event will take place on Friday, Nov. 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will feature keynote speaker and facilitator Cathy Burack, senior fellow at the Center for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University.
This will be a workshop-style event. Burack will give the keynote address in the morning to give a solid foundation of assessment of community-based and service-learning courses while exposing best practices. Working groups will meet in the afternoon. The session will close with a discussion of ideas. Faculty and staff at all experience levels are welcome to attend.
