Flu Shots Still Available

If you haven’t gotten a flu shot yet, it’s not too late; Health Services still has plenty of vaccine available.
Students, faculty, staff, and family members who would like to be vaccinated may stop by the Health Services office in the Sports Center Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. No appointment is necessary.
The cost of a vaccine is $25, which may be paid by cash, check, or charge.
If you have a friend, family member, or co-worker who has been unable to get a flu shot due to short supplies of the vaccine, you can bring them to Health Services to be vaccinated, said Program Director Mary Norris.
People can get vaccinated through February, but it is most effective to get the flu shot by early January, at the latest, Norris said. “The highest rate of contamination will come during our exposure to family and friends during the holiday season,” Norris said.
