University President Walter Harrison will receive a Community Service Award from the Urban League of Greater Hartford at the organization’s 45th Annual Equal Opportunity Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 5, at La Renaissance in East Windsor, Conn.

Community Service Awards will be presented to Harrison and to John Rose Jr., corporation counsel for the City of Hartford. NBC Connecticut Anchor Keisha Grant will serve as Mistress of Ceremony.
