

H1N1 vaccine clinics are being held today from 8 to 10 a.m., noon to 1:30 p.m., and 3 to 5 p.m. at Health Services (located in the Sports Center).
H1N1 flu vaccine clinics for students, faculty, and staff are taking place
TODAY (Thursday, Nov. 5) at Health Services (located in the Sports Center).
The clinics are being held at the following times:
8 a.m. to 10 a.m.; 12 noon to 1:30 p.m.; and
3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The cost of the vaccine is $10, which may be paid with cash, check payable to ProHealth, credit card, or Hawk Cash.
On Wednesday, Health Services held an H1N1 flu vaccine clinic for students who are considered at higher risk under Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines.
Today's clinics are open to
all students, faculty, and staff.
Future clinics will be announced through the University's Flu Information Center at
www.hartford.edu/flu.
As of Nov. 3, there were 20 active cases of confirmed or suspected H1N1 flu among students, faculty, and staff. In total, Health Services has reported more than 70 confirmed or suspected cases of H1N1 within the campus community. This number continues to be a small percentage of the community. Flu cases on campus to date have been relatively mild and most students have recovered in four to five days.
