The University of Hartford men’s and women’s basketball seasons will open with several high-profile games, including a
women’s home game against Louisville, the runner-up in the 2009 NCAA tournament.
Connecticut 6 Classic
The men’s team will open the 2009-10 season against the Quinnipiac Bobcats as part of the
first-ever Connecticut 6 Classic at the Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, Conn.
The men’s game against Quinnipiac is scheduled for
Friday, Nov. 13, at

'White Out the Pavilion' for Lousiville Game!
The women’s team will then host the Quinnipiac Bobcats for their season opener at Chase Arena on
Saturday, Nov. 14, at
4:30 p.m., in a game that is scheduled to air live on NESN.
On
Tuesday, Nov. 17, at
7 p.m., the women’s team will welcome Louisville, the runner-up in the 2009 NCAA tournament, to Chase Arena at the Reich Family Pavilion.
Since Louisville’s team color is also red, the Hawks will be attempting to
“White Out the Pavilion!” All fans are encouraged to wear white to the game. There will also be a
T-shirt giveaway, courtesy of Farmington Bank. The Louisville game will be televised on the Connecticut Sports Network.
The men’s team will welcome the Marist College Red Foxes to Chase Arena for their home opener on
Wednesday, Nov. 18, at
7 p.m. They will then host the Fordham Rams on
Saturday, Nov. 21, for a
2 p.m. match-up.
