Brittany Goldberg, a May 2014 graduate of the University of Hartford, was a featured speaker at the celebration event of the Chabad on Campus International Conference on June 23, and her talk was the subject of a story in the July 4 edition of the Connecticut Jewish Ledger.

Goldberg talked about the role that Chabad played in helping her find a balance between her secular and religious lives and about how that balance helped her succeed at the University of Hartford.

The event, held at the Hilton Westchester in Rye Brook, N.Y., was attended by 400 Chabad on Campus rabbis and their families, as well as hundreds of supporters and lay leaders, including Eric Fingerhut, president and CEO of the Hillel Foundation, who also addressed the conference.

A fellow of the Chabad on Campus Sinai Scholars Society, Goldberg left for Israel shortly after the conference to attend Machon Alte in Tzefat, with the support of Chabad on Campus International.
