The Connecticut Jewish Ledger newspaper profiled Jason Oruch, the new director of the Hillel program on the University of Hartford campus. The article, which was published in the Ledger's Thursday, Aug. 21, edition, also profiles the new Hillel director at Connecticut College.

Oruch, a 2009 graduate of the University of Kansas, where he was involved in the student senate, Greek life, and KU Hillel, originally went to work as online marketing director for his father’s restaurant, Sea Breeze Fish Market & Grill in Plano, Texas, the family’s hometown. However, in 2011, he joined University of Oklahoma Hillel as director of student life. After three years at Oklahoma, he now joins the University of Hartford.
