Financial Fitness Series

For a small business owner, understanding the importance of business numbers and the stories they tell is critical. The Center’s Financial Fitness series features free workshops and low-cost seminar sessions on important financial issues, such as financial statements and accounting basics; types and sources of financing; establishing and rebuilding credit; risk management and business insurance; tax planning; buying and selling the business; and more.

The workshops and seminars combine comprehensive training from subject matter experts with technical assistance and access to online and other resources. Speakers include Barney School of Business faculty, lenders, accounting and insurance professionals, and others. Participants learn practical tips to implement in their businesses and increase their confidence level to better manage their operations.

Establishing and Rebuilding Credit
