Due to winter storm conditions, the University is closed today, Tuesday, Jan. 27.  Day and evening classes are canceled. An updated advisory on the status of classes and operations for tomorrow will be posted this evening. During the time that the University is closed, the Commons, Subway, and Village Market will maintain regular hours for residential dining services and the Sports Center will be open for use by residential students only. Karen Case

Teaching Focus

Associate Professor Karen I. Case teaches a range of courses within the Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership, including: Community Based Research, Seminar in Instructional Development, and Leadership Theory.  She also supervises doctoral dissertations. 

Professional Interests

Case’s primary research interest is focused on creating instructional modifications for marginalized learners. She is also interested in levels of community participation in dissertation research and community partnerships in k-20 education reform initiatives.
