Education Majors Participate in Research and Creativity Colloquium

Each spring the University of Hartford hosts the Undergraduate Research and Creativity Colloquium. The Colloquium is a forum for students to present outstanding scholarly and creative work to their peers, faculty, administrators, and other guests.  All members of the campus community are invited to attend.

The three students made a group presentation entitled "Learning Through Doing" in which they described their unique and creative approaches to instruction during their student teaching experiences in the Hartford area.  Valerie Brino also used the occasion to discuss her senior honors project, a case study of her interventions with an individual with intellectual disabilities entitled, "Assessment and Instruction of Adaptive Behavior".

The Colloquium was sponsored by The University of Hartford Honors Program, Alpha Chi National Honor Society, and The Hawk Hall Honors Residential Learning Community.
